Nick is the founder and managing partner of EBL, LLP. He focuses his practice on trust and estate litigation, contested conservatorships, and estate planning.
Before founding EBL, LLP, Nick was a partner at Lagerlof, LLP, a large Pasadena law firm, where he spent nine years focusing on trust and estate litigation and contested conservatorships. Prior to that, he practiced at the international law firm McDermott Will & Emery and at Anglin Flewelling Rasmussen Campbell & Trytten LLP, where he handled a broad range of estate planning matters.
Nick earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, graduating cum laude and earning a certificate in estate planning. He later earned an LL.M. in estate planning from the University of Miami Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning.
Nick is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association Probate Section, the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section, and the California Lawyers Association Trusts and Estates Section. He previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Pasadena Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all California state courts.
Outside of his legal practice, Nick is active in the community and routinely serves on the boards of nonprofit organizations. Nick and his wife, Ali, also serve as Bocce officials for Special Olympics.
